This article is a part of reading comprehension in Language Development program. This year, I join Mr Jarred's class, which most of the activities are reading comprehension. However, because I get a schedule for duty care every Wednesday, he just gives me the soft copy of the articles and then I submit the answer via email. The following article is taken from book Effective School Management, has 21 pages in total. Mr Jarred gave us some after-reading questions, i.e: 1. Since the first three factors (achievement, responsibility, and recognition) are particularly within the control of your superior, what recommendations could you make to them to help improve these scores? 2. Do you think there are other factors which are 'motivators' for work that Herzberg missed? These are my answers:
2. Other than ‘motivators’ Herzberg mentioned, there is another factor that makes people satisfied with their work, i.e. the happy feeling when we can help others and also the merit from God for the Hereafter (page 10).
